Project Briefing
The project included the demolition of the existing library and development of the three acre site. Site work consisted of concrete retaining walls, concrete paving, water conserving landscaping and a parking lot. The library building’s incorporates both a steel and wood structure. The exterior cladding is a combination of glazing, metal panels and accaya wood siding. The elaborate interior features many elevation changes, access flooring, wood ceiling treatments, exposed Glu-Lam members and 2×6 decking, and high-level of finishes.
