Project Briefing
New construction of Poly-West manufaturing plant, a manufacturer of polyethylene products was completed in Henderson, Nevada. The project consisted of construction of a 377,000 sf tilt-up concrete building plus 36-75’ tall silos, placed 30 ft underground to store 35 million plastic pellets. The silo pads contain a 3 ft thick mat footing slab just under 30,000 sf with over 80 tons of reinforced steel and just over 4,500 cubic yards of concrete, all of which was poured at one time.
This original building became the first of numerous projects as Poly-West has continued to grow and expand their Henderson campus. R&O has been honored to have assisted them with every construction project along the way.
