Project Briefing

The fifth major construction project at Falcon Hill on Hill Air Force Base has been completed by R&O Construction. Building 1581 is a 77,796 SF, three story office building with leasable space and tenant improvements for the US Army Corps of Engineers and Lockheed Martin. The building is constructed of structural steel with exterior cladding that includes a specialty finish Granite EIFS system, metal panels and blast resistant glazing.

The $1.5 billion project is also the first public/private partnership at Hill and in the state of Utah.

Notable Information

Construction is part of the Falcon Hill Enhanced Use Lease master plan that gives new and existing Air Force contractors supporting the base’s mission new office space opportunities. An EUL allows private entities to lease under used military land. Future plans for Falcon Hill include retail space and restaurants.
