Betty’s Village
Project Briefing
The non-profit is dedicated to providing community members with intellectual disabilities the resources and education needed to thrive and live a prosperous life of purpose. This project represents advancement of this mission by offering a home where clients can learn to live independently in a safe and nurturing environment. Betty’s Village has 70 units made up of 16 individual wood-framed buildings. In order to create assistive visual cues for residents, the project has 16 unique paint schemes with a total of 137 colors. A centrally located clubhouse provides a fitness center, meeting rooms, offices, swimming pool and game rooms.
